May 28, 2008, BUFORD, GA— CNNMoney.com, a service provided by CNN, Money and Fortune Magazines, said that the safe neighborhoods, affordable real estate and a relaxed pace, along with easy access to the major highways draws many individuals to the city of Buford, Georgia. More importantly, CNNMoney.com mentioned that Buford attracts entrepreneurs and about 30 new startups launch every month in this 16-square-mile city. These characteristics and more were enough to award Buford with third place in CNNMoney.com’s list of “100 Places to Live and Launch a Business”. Therefore, the city of Buford along with The Buford Business Alliance, have every right to boast and toot their own horns and claim their praises.
The timing of the ranking couldn’t be better. Recently launched was Buford’s first television commercial, enticing individuals to come and visit the area’s beauty, attractions and events, vibrant lifestyle, business community, and the charm of the historic downtown area.
Adreka Advertising was selected by the city of Buford and the Buford Business Alliance to make strategic placements, track and measure the effectiveness of the television commercial, including website analytics to measure the impact of increased traffic to the website. Adreka Advertising took the commercial to the next level of success by broadcasting it a total of 4,802 times on 28 different networks that included cable stations in Gwinnett county. “We were extremely pleased with our results of our TV commercial! As a matter of fact, our expectations were exceeded in the number of placements and the high caliber channels the commercial played on. The cost per placement came in at a level unimaginable for TV. I never thought we could advertise at such a reasonable cost and we certainly look forward to doing so again. Adreka rocks!” said Mr. Tim Koenning, President of the Buford Business Alliance. The televised commercial directs viewers to the website, www.visitbuford.com, and advertises upcoming special events and area attractions. Future commercial placements continuing to brand the city and publicize its upcoming events will also be managed by Adreka.
